Terms of Service
ORDERS
Orders will be shipped within 7 business days from the day they are placed. Please consider this processing time when placing your order. For rush orders or to check availability, please get in touch! The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
Customers receive email order status updates to the email address provided at checkout. Updates will include order confirmation and shipment confirmation. For additional status update questions please email me. I reserve the right to cancel and refund any order at any time.
DELIVERY
UK orders will be shipped by Royal Mail First Class Signed For. For rush orders please contact me and I can send the package by Special Delivery Guaranteed Saturday Delivery - this will incur a surcharge which will be invoiced.
International orders will be shipped by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed For - delivery times may vary depending on country.
Please make sure you provide the correct postal address at the time of order because if the items are returned to us we will have to charge for re-postage. In the unlikely event that the goods become damaged during postage then please let us know as soon as they arrive and we can investigate this. If you do not report this immediately then we will not accept any responsibility for the damage and are not obliged to reimburse you.
All orders require a signature on receipt. If you miss delivery and do not collect your item from the post office within the time stipulated on the card and the item is returned to me, I reserve the right to charge again for postage.
You may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. These additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient; I have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
RETURNS
I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase! Items may be exchanged or returned within 14 days from when you receive your order.
Exchanges and returns are only accepted for unworn, unaltered items including their original packaging. Please note due to hygiene reasons I am unable to refund or exchange earrings.
I cannot refund shipping charges, unless an item has been sent in error. Returns cannot be accepted for items purchased anywhere other than www.smithandgibb.com.
Return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the customer. The customer is responsible for any and all shipping charges on any bounced or undeliverable packages.
Please email me quoting your order number, name and reason for return or exchange and I can supply you with the returns address. Return payment will be issued when I have received your item and you will be notified.
OTHER
Prices and availability of items are subject to change at any time. Smith & Gibb reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
Please note that whilst every care has been taken to ensure of accurate descriptions and colour accuracy, due to the handmade nature and materials used on each piece they can be slight variations from product to product. However due to variations in individual user’s monitor settings, calibrations, colour printing settings, and lighting sources, an exact match cannot be guaranteed.
